Two Types of Executive Search Consultancy :

1). Retained Search – This is the type more popular where the companies hire an Executive Search Consultant or such a firm exclusively to find out an executive for them – this executive maybe a CEO, a COO, a Marketing Director, a Sales Manger or any other Higher or Middle management positions.

Search Process : We observe following steps while carrying out an Executive Search.

Step-1: Understand the Client requirements after talking and meeting with the client company.

Step-2: Freeze Search Specifications and get client’s approval by signing the contract.

Step-3: Search from National / International databases for matching candidate profiles.

Step-4: Preliminary interviews and assessment of short-listed prospective candidates and Forwarding details of these candidates to the company.

Step-5: On Company’s advice, arrange interviews between them and the candidates.

Step-6: Reference check for the candidate’s past jobs once the company approves of the candidate.

Step-7: Back-up Candidates in case the company decides not to go ahead with a candidate.

Step-8: Assignment Closure (includes participation in salary-negotiation)

Our Fees: As this Industry works generally, the fees charged are one third of the employee's yearly salary + major expenses involved during the search like traveling to meet candidates (if required), long distance calls & ads. in advised job-sites at actual. For example, if a company decides to pay a salary of Rs. X p.a. (per annum) to the executive they decide to employ searched by us - our fees will be one third of this that is Rs. X/3. 33 % of this fees (that is Rs. X/9) to be given when the Contract is signed (as mentioned in the Step 2 in the search process above). Balance fees to be paid on the completion of Step 8. Expenses incurred in the procedure will be claimed at regular intervals at actual. After 3 months of hiring us - if the company does not hire the candidate from the short-listed profiles forwarded by us, then we will not claim for the balance 2X/3 fees. However, Advance X/9 fees and monthly expenses occurred at actual will not be refunded. For International Assignments, payments have to be made in US Dollars if the client company is based outside of India.

Time Duration for Search process: Normally, it takes 2-3 months to find an executive however the time may vary according to the requirements. We shall keep the companies informed at regular intervals.

One year Back-up: If the hired employee leaves the company before completing one year then we will provide more matching candidate profiles for the same post at no extra expenses except major expenses occurred in the procedure like traveling, long-distance calls, interviews etc. at actual. We will not charge any other fees.

2). Contingency Search – In this type, the client company does not hire any one consultant for the executive search. In this case CVs of prospective candidates are forwarded to the client company.
